Year 6 Orientation Day
Science experiments, history lessons, sporting games and anti-bullying programs were just a few of the exciting opportunities Year 6 students had during our Orientation Day on Wednesday 5th Dec.
Around 100 students who will enter into Year 7 next year spent the day touring the school, attending their first high school lessons and meeting future teachers and classmates. Supported by our Year 9 Peer Leaders and Welfare team, students reflected positively on the experience in their surveys and are looking forward to starting in Term 1 .
"It was a fun day and a good opportunity to meet the teachers and students," said Jaime, who currently attends Robert Townson Public School and will start in Year 7 next year.
Thank you to all staff and students involved in supporting Year 6 students on the day.
Year 7 will commence school on Wednesday 30th January along with Years 11 and 12.
Years 8, 9 and 10 will return on Thursday 31st January.
