There are, at present, over 21,000 resources in our library. Most of these resources may be borrowed. Resources include non-fiction books, reference books like atlases and encyclopedias and a large collection of senior and junior fiction and picture books. There are also HSC resources and magazines/periodicals which may be borrowed. The library also houses videos/dvd's for teacher use and a collection of maps. The Sydney Morning Herald is available to read everyday.
New ResourcesType
We are always adding new resources to the collection and these are displayed at the front of the library on the 'New Books' stand.
Non - Fiction Area
This area provides access to non-fiction resources and an area where classes can work together or study quietly on their own.
Fiction Area
The fiction area contains a large collection of fiction books suitable for all ages and reading levels. It provides a quiet, comfortable area in which to read.
Premier's Reading Challenge
Students are encouraged to take part in the Premier's Reading Challenge. Year Seven classes are taken to the library regularly and helped enter the competition and choose suitable books.
